Trust Events, which are quick side quests, bring you closer to your characters, helping to establish friendships while uncovering their unique stories. Here’s everything you need to know about the Trust mechanic inZenless Zone Zero.
Zenless Zone Zero’s Trust Events, Explained
Trust Eventsare Agent-exclusive familiarity activities. By participating in these quick events, you build Trust with your characters, which leads tounlocking rewards and side queststhat expose your Agents’ backstories.
After unlocking an Agent’s Trust Events, you candeepen your relationship with them, progressing from Familiar to Friendly, from Friendly to Close, and from Close to Trusted.
Trusted is the highest level on the Trust meter, offering the best rewards and unlocking all lore details for the character.
How To Unlock Trust Events In Zenless Zone Zero
Trust Events unlock once youcomplete Chapter 2 InterludeandAnby’s Problem Commission. Once you reach this point in the story, you can accept Agent Commissions and spend time with your characters to build Trust and earn rewards.
Unlocking the Trust Level option is not the only prerequisite to get closer to your Agents. You can only build Trust withcharacters you have already obtained. In some cases, you might even need to complete the Agent’s main Commission or Story Plot before being able to build up friendliness with them.
How To Increase An Agent’s Trust Level In ZZZ
You need tointeract with the Agents and accept their activity invitations. When talking to your characters,choosing positive responses is crucial, as negative replies will decrease your Trust points.
If you want to see which Agents are available for Trust Events, open the Fast-Travel menu and select the “District Details” button from the top-right corner.
Typically, up to three Agents can wander around each district, waiting for you to interact with them.
Also, keep an eye on your DMs because Agents will often send you messages, inviting you to hang out with them. These invitations are thefastest way to build Trust, as simply saying ‘yes’ strengthens your bond.
Is There Any Romance In Zenless Zone Zero?
Although you can increase an Agent’s Trust by four levels, there seems to be no romance option inZenless Zone Zero’s campaign. Increasing the Trust meter with your characters will lead tounlocking rewards such as Polychrome, Dennies, and the Dynamic Wallpaper of that specific Agent.
