CraftyThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayers are discovering a new glitch that can help Link get rich quickly by duplicating frozen meat. There seems to be no limit to the new things fans can uncover inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, be theyhiddenZeldaEaster eggsknowingly placed by the developers or strange bugs that are found completely by accident.

While Nintendo has been constantly ironing out these technical quirks with each newTears of the Kingdompatch, many of them have remained long enough to become useful tricks to help players reach new areas or gain valuable Rupees. Theseinclude item duplication glitches inTears of the Kingdom, which allow players to replicate items by feeding them to a hungry Rock Octorok or selecting them while Link is in the middle of a shield hop. The copied items can then be sold at any shop to generate a seemingly endless wealth of Rupees, which the player can use to buy whatever they need to makeTears of the Kingdom’s main quest easier.

There are many of these item duplication glitches inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomalready, and a YouTuber by the handle of Austin John Playshas just shown off another one. As demonstrated in one of their latest videos, this trick starts with the player dropping two pieces of meat on the ground. Then, Link needs to combine them with two Tree Branches or Wooden Sticks using his item-crafting Fuse ability. From there, the player sticks the two makeshift meat weapons together and saves the resulting contraption with Autobuild. Using Autobuild, the player recreates and combines the Meat Clubs until they reach the 21-club structure limit.

Having saved this collection of clubs withTears of the Kingdom’s unlockable Autobuild ability, Link then travels to a snow-covered area and waits for snowfall. Once a winter storm begins, the player equips a Meat Club and wanders around until the meat at the end of the stick freezes. The player then needs to open Autobuild and select the 21-meat structure they invented before. However, instead of building it, they should hold the structure’s diagram until all the attached meat freezes and falls from it. This step is then repeated until the player has as much frozen meat as they want to sell.

Any player who uses this trick canfarm Rupeesin relatively short order, as Icy Gourmet Meat sells for 40 Rupees per piece at any food shop. A great deal of the fun inThe Legend of Zelda:Tears of the Kingdomappears to come from the freedom the game’s open-world structure gives players to build interesting new contraptions with Link’s new powers or rake in Rupees using the many item duplication glitches that seemingly crop up with each passing day.
