The Dark World is an explorable overworld that can be entered through portals in Hyrule, with the lore stating that people end up being lost in this alternate dimension when searching for power. The Dark World contains a number of dark and warped structures, due to Ganon’s influence over the Triforce corrupting everything - from the wildlife, the people, and nature. They noted they had previously 3D-printedthe Light World map ofLink to the Past, and that they received plenty of requests to do the Dark World version. With this version, they wanted to add a lot of details while printing it at high resolution. As a result, the whole project took over 24 hours to print, but they considered it to be worth the wait, to which fans complimented the recreation’s quality.
