WithTears of the Kingdomjust around the corner, one player on Reddit who goes by the name of LivSagaGaming stumbled upon a way to make ChuChu Jellies useful in combat. ChuChus are an enemythat can be encountered all overBreath of the Wild. They are gelatinous transparent blue blobs that look like aggressive oversized water droplets with crazed yellow and red eyes. Defeating one drops a ChuChu Jelly, an item typically used in crafting. After reading a blog post that theorized that the jellies can potentially be used in combat, LivSagaGaming decided to try it out. LivSagaGaming tested it on a Lynel, one of the most fearsome enemies a player can encounter in the open world. It turns out, ChuChu Jellies are quite effective in combat.

Just as a terrifying Lynel was about to chargeto deliver a devastating blow, LivSagaGaming dropped a handful of ChuChu Jellies in its path. The Lynel slipped on the jellies, sending it soaring over Link’s head and out of frame. SinceBreath of the Wild’s release, many a player has struggled mightily to defeat Lynels, only for one person to come along years after its release and only days before the release of its sequel to demonstrate that the dastardly Lynel is no match for the old slippery banana peel gag.

ChuChu Jellies are primarily used to craft armor sets, and for a long time, they were thought by many to have only one other useful application, which is in the cooking of a recipe called Dubious Food, a dish made up of random combinations of ingredients that can increase Link’s health. But now, on the eve of a newZeldagame, a whole new combat-focused use has been made known to a wider audience that players might be able to immediatelyapply to theirTears of the Kingdomplay-throughin just a matter of days.
