Xbox has released another color variation for the newXbox Series X/Scontrollers. The controllers were announced along with the Xbox Series X/S consoles, and feature updated designs. One of the biggest draws of the updated Xbox controllers is the controllers work on multiple platforms including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Android devices, and nowiOS devices.
Xboxhas officially released the Special Edition Daystrike Camo Xbox Controller. The Daystrike Camo is the first camo design variation for the new Xbox controllers, and is now available on the Microsoft Store website for $69.99 USD. The controller features a red, black, and grey camouflage design, much like the Artic Camo and Night Ops Camo Xbox One controllers.

The Daystrike Camo comes with all the design features of the new generation of Xbox controllers. A hybrid D-pad, a dedicated share button, and the textured trigger, bumper, and back case grips make the new Xbox controllers easy to use for many fans. Now with the Daystrike Camo controller being released, players have plenty ofoptions for Xbox Series X controller colorsat different price points. The Robot White controller is currently priced at $54.99 USD on the Microsoft Store, while both the Carbon Black and Shock Blue controllers are listed at $59.99 USD.
The Daystrike Camo and the Electric Volt controllers were announced the same date, but theElectric Volt Xbox controllerreleased on March 27 and is available for $64.99 USD. While the Daystrike Camo controller is the most expensive version to date, it is the most unique among the color variations. More controller designs are expected to release, so there may possibly be more camouflage color variations coming in the future.
Microsoft is not the only company coming out with new Xbox controller designs. Third-party accessory manufacturer PowerA is making an Xbox Series X controller with some unique features. The company has announced that it will release aCupheadthemed Xbox controllerlater this year. The controller is currently available for pre-order at $34.99 USD and features a yellow color design, an image of Mugman, and a special microphone volume switch.
Xbox has partnered up to release themedXbox Series X/Scontrollers in giveaways and contests too. After acquiring developer Bethesda and adding many Bethesda titles to Game Pass, Xbox held its April Ultimate Contest. The contest had players try toearn the most achievements in Bethesda titlesfor a chance to win one of seven different custom themed controllers. Xbox also teamed up with controller designer Xbox Pope to give away a customOutriderscontroller.
