The boss fight with Scar consists of two phases:Lightbane Reversal and Aberrant Nightmare. In both phases, counterattacking is crucial for quickly reducing his Vibration Strength and Health bar. As Scar is a melee fighter, maintaining a safe distance from his attacks is essential.

During Lightbane Reversal, you should focus on counter-attacking when Scar is charging up. Maintain your distance and strike when the opportunity arises. However, in Aberrant Nightmare, look for openings when Scar tries to grab you or swings his sword from the ground.
During the Aberrant Nightmare phase, once Scar’s Vibration Strength is depleted, you will be able to perform a finishing move. Utilize this strong attack to deal a significant amount of damage to Scar, and keep on attacking him until his Health bar is completely depleted to defeat him.
