Despite Twitch being far more strict when it comes to policing inappropriate content and delivering bans to streamers who abuse the site’s series of rules and regulations, it seems a number of controversial streamers still manage to remain on the platform in spite of making numerous mistakes. Twitch mainstayAlinity has been the subject of a lot of Twitch controversies as of late, seeing herself return to the service despite being banned numerous times, while streamers like Kaceytron have also been met with severe bans in recent months.

Another Twitch star who seems to frequently be in hot water is Kaitlyn “Amouranth"Siragusa, who over the last year has amassedtwo prior bansfor showing inappropriate content. It seems, however, that the popular streamer has somehow managed to pick herself up a third ban, with the reasoning behind the punishment not yet revealed.

That being said, fans do have an idea surrounding whyAmouranthhas once again been suspended from the platform, with the streamer accidentally drawing attention to a viewer’s Twitch profile picture, which contained inappropriate content that violated the site’s guidelines. Following the act, the streamer told her audience that “everything would be fine,” explaining that she’d talked to Twitch and it said said, “as long as you end the stream and delete the VOD, and delete the clips, then you’re fine.” However, it seems as though this wasn’t the case, with Amouranth’s content being barred from the site not all too long after.

Naturally, this has led many to wonder how severe Twitch will be with Amouranth’s channel, with the site being known to deliver much harsher punishments following a third strike. Some are considering that the ban may have to be permanent, with Amouranth breaking the rules and regulations set out by Twitch so many times in the past. Earlier this year, she wasbanned following an IRL gym stream, while last year she got a ban after an unfortunate wardrobe mishap during an ASMR-focused stream.

Naturally, none of these incidents were intentional from Amouranth, and mistakes do happen when streaming live and not having the ability to edit the footage. However, Twitch’s rules and regulations are there for a reason, and the site has every right to permanently ban streamers who are careless about following it. Recently,Alinity spoke out about Twitch’s banning policy, claiming that the site should put better care and detail into conveying why they’ve initiated a ban to both the streamer and their audience. Seemingly, for cases like these, it would be a far more informative practice for both parties.
