10Tao Tie
The Tao Tie is typically portrayed as an Eastern monster, that of a sheep with a human’s face. It’s one of Ancient China’s Four Fiends, representing gluttony. In keeping with this theme, the Tao Tie possesses insatiable hunger – something that it also possesses inNocturne.
The Tao Tie belongs to the Vile category of Demons, given its association with disease and curses. Players can only get Tao Tievia Fusionat Level 65. In terms of Skills, it has Tetraja (Innate) that buffs allies to nullify Expel or Death once per battle. At Level 67, it can learn Hell Gaze, which can instant kill a foe at 70-percent chance.

9Abaddon
In The Greater Key of Solomon, Abaddon represents the abyss. He’s often depicted as a demon or an angel associated with locusts. Regardless of its depiction, it always leaves destruction in its wake.InNocturne, Abaddon appears as a giant human head under the Tyrant category.
Attainable at Level 69 as a Fusion-only Demon, Abaddon has notable traits. Its Attack All (Innate, Passive) ensures it attacks all foes at once. Many of its attacks are Ice-type, with large chances to freeze opponents. By the time it reaches Level 73, Abaddon can evolve into the Tyrant Alciel.

8Samael
TheSerpent itselfmakes its appearance inNocturneas a Vile Demon of serpentine appearance, befitting its origins. Samael is of Biblical origin, notable for having tempted Eve into eating the Fruit of Knowledge in Eden.
Players can obtain Samael at Level 73 via Shijima Reason or by performing a special fusion (Divine Throne + Any Vile) after the Samael boss battle. Its notable Skills lie in its Innates, Mahamaon and Mamudoon, which can bestow a 30-percent chance of instant-killing foes via Expel or Death respectively. Starting at Level 74, its Samrecarm can revive one dead ally at Full HP.

7Surt
Surt of Norse Mythology rules Muspelheim, the land of fire. He wields Laevateinn, the shining sword, and uses it to create the stars in the heavens. Inits depiction inNocturne, he takes the appearance of a humanoid with red and black skin with a white cape. He belongs to the Tyrant class of Dark Demons, befitting his divine but destructive nature.

Players can obtain Surt at Level 74 via Fusion after his boss battle. Players should note that his Elec Drain (Passive) at Level 75 grants Drain: Electricity to the player. Meanwhile, Attack All (Passive) at Level 76 gives him the ability to strike all foes within a single regular attack.
6Hresvelgr
With its appearance as an imposing eagle, Hresvelgr in Norse Mythology provides the wind across the world whenever it beats its wings. InNocturne, Hresvelgr’s animal nature puts it under the Wilder race, attainable at Level 75 via fusion or if recruited during a Full Kagutsuchi.
Hresvelgr’s Mabufudyne (Innate) can deal massive Ice damage with a 15-percent chance to freeze foes. Another notable skill is Life Refill (Passive) at Level 78, which lightly heals the player at every step provided they’re the active combatant.

5Alciel
In “The Mystical Midrash” of Jewish mysticism, Alciel is in charge of Gehenna, the Jewish version of Hell. InNocturne, Alciel is a Tyrant Demon which takes the form of a more grotesque human head with a wide-open mouth. Players can attain Alciel at Level 77 after evolving it through Tyrant Abaddon.
Interestingly, Alciel might beworth the whilewhen it comes to its evolution. Its Life Surge (Passive) at Level 78 gives a whopping 30-percent boost to its Max HP. Moreover, its Victory Cry (Passive) gives Max HP and MP to users after every battle provided they’re the active combatant.

4Mada
Hailing from Hindu mythology, Mada is the powerful deity associated with drunkenness. In the epic Mahabharata, it’s Mada that contained the power necessary to subdue Indra, another powerful Hindu deity. InNocturne, Mada takes the form of a four-armed Vile Demon with purple and teal armor.

Players can attain Mada at Level 83 via Fusion after his boss battle. Players may want to focus on Skills such as Hades Blast (Innate), which deals heavy physical damage to all foes with a large chance of a critical hit. Moreover, its Diarahan at Level 85 grants Full HPto an ally, with Life Surge (Passive) at Level 87 giving its user a 30-percent Max HP boost.
3Beelzebub (Human)
Perhaps one of themost notable demonsin popular culture, Beelzebub is often called the Lord of the Flies. According to some beliefs, Beelzebub isn’t necessarily a deity but one of Hell’s Seven Princes – and sometimes even Baal himself.
Players can only attain the Tyrant Beelzebub (Human) at Level 84 via Fusion after his boss battle. His most useful Skills include Watchful (Passive) at Level 85, which gives its user 50-percent EXP provided they don’t participate in combat. Moreover, its Megidolaon (Innate) deals mega almighty damage to every enemy.

2Mot
Mot represents death, infertility, and the underworld. InNocturne, its appearance takes the form of a golden casket of Egyptian design, with its lid barely open. The only known description of Mot’s physical appearance would be its red-veined purple skin, green eyes, and horns.
Players can obtain the Tyrant Mot at Level 91 via Fusion after its boss battle. Mot’s skills include Maragidyne and Mazandyne, which deals heavy fire and force damage to all foes, respectively. Its Beckon Call can summon a random Demon from the party stock onto the field. Additionally, its Force Drain (Passive) at Level 94 gives the user Drain: Force.

1Beelzebub (Fly)
Arguably the best Dark Demon inNocturne, players can evolve their Beelzebub (Human) into its Fly variant after completing the Labyrinth of Amala’s Fourth Kalpa. Despite this tricky acquisition process, it is worth the while for its skills and affinities.
Even Beelzebub (Fly) has skills that players could use to maximize the final leg of their playthrough. It retains Megidolaon (Innate), but this time deals mega almighty damage to all foes. Moreover, it also retains its Human Form’s Watchful (Passive) at Level 85, letting its user get half EXP provided they don’t participate in combat.
