Before today’s announcement, several pieces of evidence pointed toStreet Fighter 6being Capcom’s next big project. One such clue was froma massive Capcom hack that transpired in 2020, which revealed a document revealing thatStreet Fighter 6will be released in 2022. The official announcement ofStreet Fighter 6was accompanied by a short trailer. Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t show any actual gameplay, which may indicate that the game is still in its early stages.
