Titanium is considered a rare material inStarfield. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s impossible to find, but it will definitely require some effort to collect. That’s because, unlike Iron which can be found in almost all the Planets, Titanium is only available in a selected few. As for its usage, Titanium is required in a couple of crafting recipes and the material is essential for building a structure in an Outpost.
Like any otherresource inStarfield, there are a couple of methods players can follow tofarm Titanium. Some are time-consuming and random whereas others are more dependable as they provide a constant source of the material.

How To Farm Titanium In Starfield
To farm Titanium inStarfield, it’s best to consider one of these three methods; farming Titanium-rich Planets, extracting Titanium, and buying Titanium from merchants.
Farming Titanium-Rich Planets
Sadly, there aren’t that many Planets that contain Titanium since it’s a rare resource. To know which resources or on a Planet,Scanit and look at the bottom left to find all available materials represented by their Chemical symbol. In Titanium’s case, it’sTi.
Here’s a list of a couple of Planets that offer Titanium inStarfield:

Extracting Titanium
The Protagonists canplace an Outpost inStarfieldand build an Extractor to receive a decent amount of Titanium every once in a while. Do note that an Extractor requires power to function, so ensure to place a Power Source like aSolar Array,Wind Turbine, orFueled Generator.
Additionally, the Extractor will occasionally get full and will stop collecting Titanium. As a result, players canbuild a storage and link it to the Extractorso that any extra materials will transfer to the storage. Keep in mind that all the mentioned Planets haveExtreme Weather, which meansbuilding an Outpost won’t be available until players unlock the Planetary Habitation Skill.

As for where to place the Extractor, open the scanner and choose a spot that contains Titanium. To know if there’s Titanium underground or not, the scanner will reveal different colored spots on the ground, which indicates the presence of the material.
Buying Titanium From Merchants
Although Titanium is considered arare resource inStarfield, players may come across some available for purchase while exploring the Systems. Three particular locations contain shops that provide a decent amount of Titanium which areCydonia,New Atlantis, andAkila City. Moreover, it’s possible to come across a trading Ship that has some Titanium for sale. So, keep on the lookout while exploring the Galaxy.
Visitinga shop inStarfieldand buying all available Titanium doesn’t necessarily mean the shop is now out of stock.Simply visit the merchant after some timeand they will restock their resources and Credits.
