How to Get Sap in Stardew Valley

Chopping Trees

The simplest way to get Sap is by chopping down trees. Players can find trees surrounding their farm or by going deep into the Cindersap Forest. To cut down a tree, players need to stand next to the tree, with an Axe in hand, and press and hold the left button on the mouse till the tree falls down, yielding Wood and Sap at the same time.

Players should ensure to break the tree stump as well; otherwise, the tree won’t grow back. Once chopped down, common trees outside the farm have a 20% chance of regrowing overnight as a Stage Three tree.

Tapping Mahogany Trees

Mahogany Trees can be grown using Mahogany Seeds and they produceSapevery day. To extract Sap from these trees, players can tap them using aNormal or a Heavy Tapper. Aftercrafting a Tapper inStardew Valley, players can select it and click on a tree to place it.

Defeating Slimes
