By now, LEGO andStar Warshave consolidated an enviable marriage that only comes close to being rivaled by the toy manufacturer’s relationship with DC and Marvel. Thus, with the premiere of Disney Plus’ latestStar Warsexclusive, a LEGO set featuringThe Bad Batchhas just become available for collectors.

The Bad Batch, which premiered its first two episodes in the first week of May, takes place right after Emperor Palpatine’s Order 66 towards the end ofRevenge of the Sithand follows Clone Force 99, a defective yet elite pack of clone troopers whose programming keeps them from turning against the Jedi. Most notably,The Bad Batchpotentially introduces the first female clone, a mysterious young girl named Omega, who crosses paths with the group.

This LEGO set comes with all fiveBad Batchteam members, each featuring removable helmets and carrying their signature weaponry, plus a Gonk droid that also serves as a dumbbell, as those who have watchedthe first twoBad Batchepisodesmight have noticed. It also comes with the squad’s larger starship shuttle, which is packed with tiny details inside, and a couple of speedster bikes that haven’t been shown yet in the series, and even LEGO’s design team ignores how they’ll be used.

The set is currently up for pre-order at the LEGO Store and other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart, starting from $99.95 for the 969 pieces set. Surprisingly, Omega is absent from the box set, an odd decision given how much ofThe Bad Batchpromotional previews place a lot of focus on her, although maybe she’ll get the minifigure treatment or even be part of another future set as the series gets closer to finishing its 16-episode season one run.

Canonically and artistically,The Bad Batchis a spiritual successor toThe Clone Wars, from which the series clearly draws some inspiration and already a couple of cameos. It couldmaybe see Anakin Skywalker’s return in animated formsince this is, after all, set during the rise of the Galactic Empire’s rule of the galaxy.

This is only the firstStar Warsshow set to release on Disney Plus this year, withThe Book of Boba Fettcoming later in December. However,The Bad Batchis uniquefor being a rare instance in which one actor, Dee Bradley Baker, is voicing the entire main cast, with him being tasked to give each of the clones a unique personality.
