JRPGs are popular among gaming fans who strongly appreciate story-heavy games with complex worlds and lore.Soul Hackers 2, Atlus’s fifth installment in theDevil Summonerseries, focuses on telling the story, so players can take their time to customize their teams' status, appearance, and skill set. However, all of these items assist overall with the combat system familiar to Atlus.
Soul Hackers 2gives its take on the “chosen one saves the world from villain playing god” trope seen in many Fantasy, Action, and Adventure games. The Japanese title has bold characters and design aspects that make it stand out and is a mixture of social simulation and strategy-based gameplay that appeals to fans of the genre. As in most RPGs, players must earn money to buy upgrades, Demons, and items that make moving through the game a smoother experience. Players have a couple of different options when it comes to earning Yen.

Exploring Dungeons
Dungeons are places where players experience the most hands-on gameplay.Ringo and her companionscan train in combat, find valuables, and meet new Demons as they discover these places. Players must run through dungeons to unlock the map, and some have puzzles that must be solved to move forward. While doing this, players can earn cash by interacting with contracted Demons or Enemies.
Demon Recon
Players with many Demon contracts have more chances for their Demons to find money when scouting areas. As soon as players spawn on a map, Ringo performs a summoning spell that urges her Demons to spread out and search the site. This is an excellent method for getting things without spending money since the goal is profit-making. Demons offer money by chance, so make sure to speak to each one found. The icons above their heads give players some indication of what they may have.
Rare Enemies
Players will encounter Enemies, Risky Enemies, and Rare Enemies in the dungeons. These spawn asunidentified groups of Demons that attackplayers when contact is made. While winning battles against each of these Enemies gives players money, Rare Enemies are particularly valuable but the least common to see. They are yellow outside battle mode and will run away from players when first approached.
When defeated, they drop items with high value that can be sold in various shops. When engaged in battle, players should make quick work of defeating them because they can escape, and players will leave empty-handed.

Selling Valuables
After traversing the dungeons, players can sell their bounty at locations visited along the main storyline. These places are only available to players after they reach a certain point in the game and often introduce new characters. In-game, they are common ground areas that Demon Summoners frequentto get supplies or socializeand are hidden away from ordinary citizens. Expendables, Accessories, and Meals can all be sold at the following locations:
Zafiro: An accessory shop. Accessories can be used as defensive items for players to wear.

De La Mancha: A discount item shop.
COMP Smith: Provides upgrades to character weapons using special items.
Yang Yang Palace: Another item shop, but this one has more rare items that are seemingly smuggled in and sold.
Completing Requests
Eventually, players unlock a place called Club Cretaceous. An intriguing character named Madam Ginko owns the club. It is a hub for requests from people throughout the city. They are essentially side quests, and players will have to do things like visit old locations to find certain Demons, Enemies, or people for more information or to recover a stolen item. In some cases, players are rewarded with Yen upon completing a request. Players can view the rewards when picking a request, so knock out a few of those to make fast cash.
