Chaos is an ancient being, meaning his life spans the ancient history of theSonicuniverse. A game starring him could both take place in a new setting and give fans a much-desired expansion of the series’ mythology.

Because of her cute appearance and powerful abilities, many fans are eager for this lack of attention to change. A lot of the positive buzz forSonic Dream Teamwas due to her inclusion. Cream has a lot of appeal that Sega would do well to take advantage of in a spinoff game.

WhenBig The Catfirst appeared, his slow speech and drastically different gameplay earned him a lot of hate. However, the memes that inevitably came with such hatred went full circle to the point that people began to like him unironically. His previously despised gameplay is now the perfect reason to bring him back.

Big isall about fishing, which is one of the most popular types of minigame in modern games. Many streamers ofSonic Frontiersdevoted huge chunks of their streams to playing Big’s fishing minigame. A less expensive Big game devoted entirely to fishing is sure to do great with fans.

A Cool New Character Who Represents A Different Take On The Villians

Sonic Frontierswas popular among fans for many reasons, not least of which was its new character,Sage. Sage is an AI created by Doctor Eggman who he comes to see ashis own daughter. Fans loved her for her complex character and for adding a level of humanity to Sonic’s usually cartoony villains.

Sage’s moral dilemmas and character growth brought a level of depth to theSonicuniverse that fans really appreciated. This depth is something fans would love to see explored more in a spinoff game. With Sage being a very different type of character, she would necessitate a refreshing shift in gameplay as well.

Though she didn’t appear in the game itself, Tangle was mentioned by name inSonic Frontiers. Though a full spinoff might be too much to hope for, there is certainly enough fan interest.

A Character Whose Incredible Powers Have Gone Underutilized

Blaze The Catis a warrior princess from another dimension whose cool design and personality have earned her plenty of fans. She also has incredible pyrokinetic abilities, which are largely unheard of inSonicgames. Unfortunately, those abilities haven’t been used to their full potential.

In her debut inSonic Rush, Blaze played very similarly to Sonic, despite her vastly different power set. A spinoff game would give Sega the opportunity to explore gameplay that better suits Blaze’s abilities. With Blaze making regular appearances inSonicgames, the potential for a spinoff is there.

Rouge occupies a unique role in theSonicworld by being both a government agent and a jewel thief. That alone would make her ripe for an exciting spinoff, even if she wasn’t a popular established character. A game that livesup to Rouge’s potentialis sure to stand out from the usualSonicfare.

An Awesome Character Who Demands A Unique Gameplay Experience

E-123 Omegaendeared himself to fans with his badass design and his immense power. The robot’s massive arms conceal a huge arsenal of weapons, leaving little wonder why he considers himself Eggman’s masterpiece. Unfortunately, the potential of these weapons is always limited by the gameplay style of whichever game he appears in.

By making a game completely centered around Omega, Sega would be free to craft an experience that brings out his full potential. His desire to prove himself to be Eggman’s superior creation would make an excellent basis for an E-123 Omega game.

Her cute, appealing design and giant hammer combine to make Amy a unique character who more than deserves a unique gameplay style to match. Her popularity amongSonicfans is more than enough to attract eyes to her game, and she is more than up to the task of carrying her own solo adventure.
