ASkyrimplayer has shown off their funny roleplay as Sheogorath, even managing to defeat a dragon in-game using an incredibly powerful cheese staff. WhileSkyrimhas many roleplay possibilities, this player brings back one of the series’ most popular characters in a way that gamers might not expect.

The versatility ofSkyrimin how players are able to play the game is a massive reason it remains as popular as it is almost twelve years after its release. OneSkyrimplayer even beat the game playing as a Sith Lord. The world ofSkyrimis one that gamers continue to return to, and as long asThe Elder Scrolls 6remains a distant dream, that looks set to continue for at least the next few years. The clip was posted by Redditor ApplicationOk6770, and shows the player in combat with a dragon, while wearing Sheogorath’s famous outfit. They’ve even designed their character’s appearance aroundSkyrim’s version of Sheogorath. However, the clip gets even better, as the staff they’re using in the fight appears to fire rolls of cheese at the dragon, causing massive damage. While there are many ways for gamers to fight dragons inSkyrim, this method is one that Bethesda certainly wouldn’t expect from the game’s players.

According to the user, the recreation of Sheogorath was done without the use of mods. Unfortunately, they failed to mention how they managed to acquire the cheese staff, although it’s safe to assume it was one ofSkyrim’s incredible modsthat allowed the player to wield such a weapon. It certainly doesn’t exist in the vanilla game, even though gamers can interact with Sheogorath during his Daedric quest. He remains one of the most interesting characters inThe Elder Scrollsseries, and it’s great to see him continue to appear in fan content.

WithElder Scrolls 6on the way, it’s unknown if Bethesda has any plans to bring Sheogorath back for the sequel. Even if they don’t, players will surely continue his legacy by choosing to roleplay as him, just as this Redditor has. However, the character has appeared in some form in every game sinceMorrowind, so it’s assumed the Daedric Prince of Madness will make his return in the upcoming title. With the game presumably some time away yet, players will continue to enjoy his popular appearance inSkyrim.
