Along with being the capital of the Rift, Riften is home to the Thieves Guild, one of the factions players can join in their playthrough ofSkyrim.
Since its release, many players have shared videos of them messing around with the NPCs in the game. As an example, one fan figured out a trick that lets themkill NPCs in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimwithout alerting the guards. This method confirms that drinking a frenzy potion and performing a cinematic kill on an NPC somehow does not count as a hostile action. Now, another player has shared a clip that showcases the funny encounters users can have inSkyrim.

A Reddit user named JewDoughKick shared a funny video of a massive brawl that began in Riften after they dropped stolen cheese in the middle of the city. Some NPCs draw their weapons shortly after the player drops the wheel of cheese and start attacking each other for apparently no reason. Some fans will notice that thesoothingSkyrimmusiccontinues in the background, so the user is not immediately considered hostile. This doesn’t last long, as a Riften guard approaches the Dragonborn and forces them to either pay a fine, go to jail, or resist arrest, with the music changing at the same moment.
The player decides to pay the bounty of five gold and clear their name, butSkyrim’scity of Riftenis in chaos as NPCs fight each other right next to where JewDoughKick dropped the stolen cheese. The video ends with a massive pool of blood in the middle of the city, and the player somehow managed to get an NPC killed without ever lifting a finger.
As explained in one of the comments, JewDoughKick was caught stealing cheese and was trying to offload the item, but ended up causing a brawl.
