ASkyrimfan has decided to recreate the city of Riften usingFar Cry 5Arcade mode, which is often used to make unique things with the level editing tools that Ubisoft made available. AlthoughFar Cry 6has been released sinceFar Cry 5, fans of the latter continue to use Arcade mode to craft things like Dampe’s graveyard fromOcarina of Time, a replica of McDonald’s, and now an iconicSkyrimlocation.
A Reddit user has shared several images of theirFar Cry 5Arcade creation that shows off what looks like a new iteration ofSkyrim’s Riften. Being home toSkyrim’s Thieves Guild, Riften is one of the cities in the Bethesda RPG that many players flock to in the early moments of the game, coveting the ultimate reward of the skeleton key. ThoughFar Cry 5’s open world of Hope County doesn’t provide players with similar guilds, thisFar Cry 5fan continues to celebrate the home of the Thieves Guild using Arcade mode’s tools.

Reddit user Mojoswoptops2020 has garnered over 7,000 upvotes on theirFar Cry 5post that shows their replica of Riften made in Arcade mode. TheFar Cry 5Arcade mode screenshots show the entrance to the city and the buildings along both sides of it, the waterway that goes through the city and is connected to the Thieves Guild Ratway, and the central vendor area next to The Bee and Barb. Like with other cities, Riften is home to a powerfulSkyrimleader known as a jarl, and this city’s ruler resides in Mistveil Keep, which is portrayed in the background of one image alongside Riftweald Manor.
Because of how largeSkyrim’s city of Riftenis, Mojoswoptops2020’sFar Cry 5Arcade iteration is without the Thieves Guild or Ratway alongside it, which may still be crafted in a different save. The appropriate side of the city has snowcapped mountains looming in the background behind the settlement, which points to Mojoswoptops2020’s attention to detail with theFar Cry 5Arcade editor. While theFar Cry 5Skyrimcity is similar to others like it made in Arcade mode in effectively encapsulating the settlement, the lack of NPCs cluttering it helps the creation stand out from the original.
Mojoswoptops2020’s Riften isn’t the firstSkyrimlocation created inFar Cry 5Arcade mode, with Riverwood, the western watchtower, and Breezehome, among other impressive levels shared by fans. Given how many areas ofSkyrimstill haven’t been interpreted throughFar Cry 5Arcade and its tools, there are still several locations like Helgen, Rorikstead, Solitude, Windhelm, and High Hrothgar that may still be looked at through the Ubisoft lens by Mojoswoptops2020 or players like them.
