Seinfeldis often considered one of the best sitcoms ever produced. It makes sense why multi-camera sitcoms fell by the waysidein the 21st centuryshortly after this series' conclusion; the format just could not get much better than what Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld accomplished. Part of what makes the show so funny is its dedication to getting laughs over-sentimental storytelling.

The characters do not learn anythingthroughout the course of the show and could be seen as in a state of arrested development. Jerry in particular has done numerous selfish and downright bad things, the worst of which are listed below.
10Let His Girlfriend Brush Her Teeth With A Toothbrush That Fell In The Toilet
The episode opens up with Jerry in a woman’s apartment. After accidentally knocking her toothbrush in the toilet, the woman immediately uses it. He holds off on telling her, but the idea of her brushing her teeth with it bothers him to the point of being unable to kiss her.
She eventually finds out and they work through the issue. At the end of the episode, she gets covered in sewage water from a backed-up toilet (through George Costanza’s doing). The episode ends with him leaving the apartment and breaking up with her.
9Causes A Woman To Lose Her Pinky Toe
A woman heckles him at a set. In response, Jerry goes down to her job and starts to relentlessly heckle her while she is trying to work.

She is so distraught by this that she runs out into the street and ends up losing her pinky toe to a car.While one can understand how upset a comedian would beat a heckler, causing a serious injury is probably going too far.
8Broke Up With A Woman Because He Thought Her Breasts Were Fake
Terri Hatcher plays Jerry’s girlfriend in this episode. He breaks up with her after Elaine says that the woman’s bust is likely fake. However, he gets back with her once Elaine accidentally feels them and believes them to actually be real.
The girlfriend eventually finds out why he broke up with her and leaves him. While this is not illegal and doesn’t cause anybody bodily harm, breaking up with someone because he thought they had surgery is low in an entirely different way.
7Got A Man Deported
While away, Elaine gets Jerry’s mail. Among the pile is a visa renewal form meant for Babu Bhatt. This is only discovered once Babu is arrested.
Jerry almost makes up for it by getting Babu to help from a lawyer whom he is dating, but he ends up ruining that chance for a whole other set of reasons. Babu is ultimately deported and the episode ends with Babu back in Pakistan yearning for vengeance against Seinfeld.
6Dates A Comatose Man’s Girlfriend
One of Jerry’s neighbors tries to end his life. While visiting him in the hospital, the comatose man’s girlfriend hits on Jerry and they start dating.
While one could argue that this is more a fault on the woman’s part than Jerry’s, he still gives in to the temptation. He gets his comeuppance in the end though, since Newman eventually squeals at the comedian. This is Newman’s first on-screen appearance in the series.
5Literally Kills A Man With Laughter
Jerry is encouraged to go visit a friend in the hospital to cheer him up. His first attempt fails to elicit any laughs. When he tries again, Jerry does a little too well because the patient dies.
People often exclaim “I’m dying” when laughing too hard, but this time it really happened. perhaps the weirdest thing about this episode is that the incident is never brought up again.
4Mugs An Old Lady
Jerry is tasked by George to be a specific type of rye bread in order to settle a dispute between Susan’s parents and his. When an old lady buys the last one before Jerry does, he desperately tries to buy it from her.
This attempt fails, so he simply snatches it out of her hands and runs away. Maybe one can see this as being a good friend to George, but stealing from the elderly is low no matter how one looks at it.
3Becomes A Movie Pirate
Jerry is inadvertently turned into a bootlegger while at a movie screening. The manager of the films finds out that the comedian has a real knack for this and tasks him with filming more screenings illegally. This act is bad for entirely different reasons than the others on the list.

It is not really being selfish or hurtful toward someone else directly, but it is still a crime and ruins the integrity of a movie. Younger readers might not realize this, but bootleg films used to literally be people filming a movie theater screen.
2Kills Birds
While in Las Vegas, George and Jerry are unable to sleep due tobirds chirping on a floor belowin a hotel. To shut them up he pours a bucket of water over the balcony and ends up killing the birds.
This leads to a whole other chain of events, but it is unnecessary to know all the details in order to realize that such an act belongs on the list.
1Drugs A Woman To Play With Her Toys
Jerry’s girlfriend has ahuge collection of vintage toys, but she forbids him from opening them and playing with them. To get around this, he gives her a nighttime pain reliever drug so she falls asleep and stays in slumber while he plays with the toys to his heart’s content.
Other friends come over and start playing with the toys too. Even though Jerry is doing it just to play with her toys, it doesn’t take a lot to see the huge ethical boundary he crosses by drugging someone to take advantage of something they have. It was reprehensible back then,but watching it on streaming nowmakes it even more heinous.
