Well before the game even released, Lady Dimitrescu was a huge selling point for many in the gaming community. She has also been the subject of numerous cosplays.

The makeup alone is finely detailed, especially the contouring of her eyelashes, and the yellow contact lenses are a nice touch. Everything from the hat, the dress, the broach, and the spooky set decorations makes this one impressive cosplay.
It’s amazing how much popularity Lady Dimitrescu has achieved in such a short time. The very firstResident Evilreleased several decades ago, but it took several years before characters likeChris Redfieldand Jill Valentine would receive the level of recognition they have today. Even so, Lady Dimitrescu caught the attention of manyResident Evilfans well beforeResident Evil Villagereleased.
For how popular her character has become, it seems unlikely that Lady Dimitrescu will be making an appearance in any otherResident Evilinstallment. Perhaps at some point she could make an appearance inResident Evil RE:Versesometime in the future, but seeing as that game is as new asResident Evil Village, fans of her character likely won’t see her inRE:Verseanytime soon.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms ofResident Evil. Theremake ofResident Evil 4could potentially get revealed at some point this year, and there are also numerousResident EvilTV and film projects releasing as well. In addition toResident Evil Village, this makes now is as good a time as any to be a fan ofResident Evil.
