When the game showed off its dimension-hopping premise during last summer’s reveal trailer, amysterious female Lombaxmade an appearance at its conclusion. The game’s newest trailer makes it clear that she has a bigger part to play than audiences may have assumed. The trailer also confirms the character’s name as Rivet.
Since the upcoming sequel doesn’t release until June, there is still quite a lot that hasn’t been revealed yet. Insomniac will slowly trickle out more information as the launch date approaches, but there are features that players are hoping will return with the latest installment. Since weapons play such an integral role in the series, there are hopes that certain fan-favorite weapons will also return. Players are likely already making their own lists ofweapons that should come back inRift Apart.

PlayStation 5 owners can also play an upgraded port of the title as well, thanks to a recent update by developer Insomniac Games.
