December 10 may be the end of one journey and the continuation of another for CD Projekt Red fans. After variously delays,Cyberpunk 2077is roughly two weeks away, which means a game 8+ years in the making will finally ship, and that also means a whole new journey of post-launch support,freeWitcher-style DLC, an eventual standalone multiplayer counterpart, and more.
Again, this game was announced 8 years ago and has tantalized fans year after year. There’s a reasonCyberpunk 2077is one of the most anticipated games of the year, but the best part for some is that it’s already discounted at various retailers. For those who take discounts on new games or pre-launch games as a bad sign, this is not one of those situations. Pre-order deals for the game went live last year as well, so this is just another instance of a “common” deal, happening at the same time as Black Friday.

Regardless, those interested in the game and saving a buck have a few options as far as retailers go.Cyberpunk 2077isn’t neessarily on sale dueFORBlack Friday and doesn’t necessarily show up in manyBlack Friday ads, but while in the Rome of Black Friday shopping, might as well save while possible. The following retailers currently have deals LIVE forCyberpunk 2077’s pre-orders right now, consistently at a price of $49.94 (instead of the standard $59.99)
Unfortunately,GameStop, Best Buy, and Target do not have any price discounts onCyberpunk 2077, and since the game does not appear in their Black Friday ads, it’s unlikely there will be any major changes by then. Those who prefer Best Buy should take note that pre-ordering it now gets a free Best Buy-exclusive Steelbook, as well as $10 in reward certificates.
Furthermore, players whopre-orderCyberpunk 2077for Stadia and from Googlewill get Stadia Premiere Edition for free. While this doesn’t represent a discount for the game, the Premiere Edition is costly and results in huge savings. This deal only lasts until December 18, or while stocks last, but it should be noted that there’s no guarantee that the Premiere Edition will arrive by Christmas.
With oneCD Projekt Red developer having 175+ hours onCyberpunk 2077and still not rolling credits on the game, one thing fans can rest assured of is the amount of content. The developer is aiming for a 90+ on Metacritic as well, though that much remains to be seen.
Cyberpunk 2077releases December 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
