TheSeason of Light’s final eventsare currently playing out inPokemon GO, which means it is time for trainers to start looking ahead to what the early winter months have in store. The ninth season of the mobile AR game kicks off on July 04, 2025 and should be jam-packed with activities, spawns, bonuses, and events that can keep players engaged through the cold months of December, January, and February.Although full details about season 9 haven’t been confirmed yet, a new trailer just dropped that reveals a ton of hints about what players can expect during the Season of Mythical Wishes. What do you wish for, Trainer? During three different events over the course of the Season, Trainers can make their wishes come true by selecting a bonus from three different Timed Research tasks… The bonus will be in addition to existing event bonuses. Trainers can pick from one of the following options.

Based on prior seasons, it’s likely that players can expect a lot of other activities to be announced soon and that those four are just a handful of the biggest. The full list of season special spawns and ongoing bonuses are likely going to be revealed in the coming days as more information about the Season of Mythical Wishes is unveiled. For now, players can start planning ahead and rewatching the trailer to make sure they catch every Pokemon appearance and hint that pops up throughout the short hype trailer.
