APokemon GOplayer experienced tremendous luck, catching a pair of rare Pokemon in a row, including a Shiny and a Galarian Legendary. The catches have impressed otherPokemon GOplayers and made some envious, too.
Pokemon GOhas items and events that help to boost the spawn rate for certain types of Pokemon, but that doesn’t mean they’re easy to catch. Finding the rare Pokemon is only half the battle. Players who find themselves ill-prepared with a lack of Poke Balls or simply up against aPokemon that’s harder to catchmay end up coming away empty-handed, with a valuable creature slipping away. That’s what happened to one fan, who’s making up for it now with two incredible catches made back-to-back.
Reddit user andPoGOfan HappyZombies shared their recent catches, joking that they now needed to play the lottery because of how good their luck had apparently been. The screenshot reveals that the player managed to grab a Galarian Articuno, and one minute later, aShiny Alolan Exeggutor, which currently has an increased chance of spawning. While HappyZombies lamented that the IVs on the Galarian Articuno weren’t good, even individually, one of these catches would considered to be quite lucky by fellow players.
Catching Rare Pokemon in Pokemon GO is No Easy Task
There’s been an outpouring of envy and congratulations to the player from fellow fans. One asked about the method of catching the Galarian Articuno, to which HappyZombies said that they used a Master Ball on it. HappyZombies had good reason, though, as they noted that the last time they even saw one of the rare bird spawns was in April, and theGalarian Legendary had run awayfrom them. They took no chances this time, so hopefully they don’t end up wishing they’d saved the Master Ball for something else down the line.
SomePokemon GOplayers were a bit puzzled, as they hadn’t seen the Galarian Legendary birds spawn for them at all. Some hadn’t known that Daily Incense came with the possibility of spawning these creatures, while others lamented that despite using the Daily Incense regularly, they still hadn’t spotted any. Some fans have previously had luckcatching Galarian Legendaries using the Pokemon GO Plus+ accessoryto ensure they don’t miss anything while they’re walking around, but some players may not like the idea of leaving the chance of catching a rare Pokemon up to an automated system. In the end, all players can really do is ensure that they have high-quality Poke Balls and a good selection of berries so that once a Galarian Legendary spawns, they’ll be ready.
