Pokemon GOtrainers have been receiving a lot of new content in the last month or two. The recent launch of the updated Buddy System and Pokemon Stop submissions and reviews were quickly followed bysome new Trade Evolutionsand it seems that Niantic isn’t slowing down. Another datamine hints at a handful of new and updated features on the way to the mobile AR game.
As always,Pokemon GOtrainers should keep in mind that datamined informatin has not been confirmed by Niantic and plans could change. Usually these datamines are solid predictors of what is to come, but there’s no saying when the changes will actually be implemented in the live environment and if they might change between now and then.

There are a handful of exciting tidbits from the latest datamine, but the most interesting for many players is likely the addition of two new Minccino quests to the game code. These suggest that the rodent-likeGen VNormal-type Pokemon is likely going to be added to the game in the very near future. Some fans have pointed out that Chinese New Year is next week and marks the beginning of the Year of the Rat. It seems possible that Minccino could be released to help celebrate that occasion.
The two new quests are Make X Nice Throws and Make X Nice Throws In A Row.
The rest of the datamine goes on to reveal some other interesting updates and changes too. Here are the highlights from the Pokemon GO Hub datamined notes:
-Two new Minccino quests added
-More references to a Raid Pass being replaced with just ‘Pass’ to confirm the same pass will be used for GO Battle League and Raids
-Free Rewards was renamed to Basic Rewards for GO Battle League
For now, players may want to keep hunting downthe best Unova Pokemon in the gameif improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for morePokemon GOstrategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
