The practise of creating custom Pokemon has only become more popular since then, with one fan known online as HoundoomKaboom showing off their passion for the series by sharing their latestset of Pokemon fusions. These amazing designs have been created by hand using pixel art, and feature a total of 6 designs. The first is a fusion between Milotic and the Gen 6 mythical Diancie, the second shows what Scizor and Vikavolt would look like as one, the third presents a unique Eeveelution featuring Dragonair, the fourth features Zoroark fused with the mythical Darkrai, the fifth is the legendary Giratina fused with Rapidash, and the last is a seriously awesome design blending Gardevoir with Darkrai.
Unfortunately, these designs are only examples of what certain fusions might look like, and haven’t been given their own names or type classifications. Fusion designs such as these have long fascinated fans, and while this sort of concept doesn’t really exist within the games in much capacity, some of the more recent forms of Pokemonsuch as Paradox Pokemonor regional variants are somewhat similar. They present what some Pokemon would look like if they lived in different environments, or, in the case of Paradox Pokemon, if they hailed from alternate timelines altogether.
How Pokemon Legends: Z-A is Already Influencing Fan Art
Regional variant Pokemon have been popular since their introduction in the Gen 7 games, but theirimplementation in the popularPokemon Legends: Arceushas many fans excited for what new designs might be waiting in the upcomingPokemon Legends: Z-A. Perhaps one of the most exciting prospects of this unreleased title is the anticipation of how it might build on some of the design choices first introduced inLegends: Arceus, or how it might even be something of a surprise departure from its predecessor in terms of mechanics.
