Luckily, there are a couple of different ways to bond with Pokemon. So forPokemon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearlfans looking to raise their friendship stats, here is how to do it.
How to Raise Friendship
A passive way for Pokemon to earn more friendship is to havePokemon follow the trainer. This function can be unlocked after beating the second gym and going to Amity Square. Walking with Pokemon and putting them first in the party are passive ways to increase its friendship level.
Pokemon Vitamins
If players wanna speed up the process even faster, they can give Pokemon Vitamins. Any vitamins will work to raise happiness, but either Protein, Calcium, or Iron are typically the most recommended. However, Pokemon can only take up to three vitamins each. These can be bought on the top floor of the Veilstone Department store.
Soothe Bell
The Soothe Bell is aHeld Item in Pokemonthat applies bonus boosts when performing different friendship actions. It will be given to the players by one of the maids inside the Pokemon Mansion on Route 212.
Once inside, turn left down the hall and enter the second doorway on the right. Fans will know they are in the correct room when there is a green-haired maid next to the TV.
Pokemon Massages
The second location to help a Pokemon is to bring it to the Pokemon Massage Woman in Veilstone City. This increases the friendship level on a Pokemon by an insane amount. However, it can only be done once per day.
Her house can be found in the bottom left corner of the city. From the Pokemon center, go down and keep going left until players find the two kids next to the Stunky. Then, go up the stairs and enter the first house to the right, and she will be inside.
