OlliOlli Worldis getting a big new expansion, Finding the Flowzone, on November 2.Worldhas been one of Roll7’s most successful and widely acclaimed games yet, and its previous post-launch DLC, VOID Riders, had already added plenty of playtime to skate-minded players, with even more content coming in the near future.
Specifically,Roll7made a name for itself by developingOlliOlliskateboarding side-scrollers. While the studio has substantially grown and evolved since its first entry, allowing the team to continuously produce better and more technically advanced titles,OlliOlli Worldis still true to its roots, providing players with an easy-to-play, yet difficult-to-master skateboarding experience.

Though Roll7’s more recent flagship releaseRollerdromeis great forPro Skaterfansdue to its proper 3D gameplay loop,OlliOlli Worldcelebrates its 2.5D side-scrolling legacy instead, affording players an almost entirely unique skateboarding-themed video game. Finding the Flowzone DLC aims to continue this by taking the players to the sky-bound world of Radlantis, where all-new challenges await. Players will need to contend with powerful gusts of wind, for example, as well as insane and extreme-difficulty tracks which promise to challenge even the veteran fans.
WithfavorableOlliOlli Worldreviewsciting its great soundtrack, intuitive controls, and a great overall vibe as some of its biggest draws,OlliOlli World: Finding the Flowzone is basically bound to continue this trend. It appears to be pirate-themed to some extent, though Roll7 is creating its own vision of how skateboarding pirates might behave in a world that’s built entirely to accommodate skateboarding itself.
With that in mind, it seems like a safe bet that, much like its predecessor, VOID Riders, Finding the Flowzone will offer a great gameplay experience for veteran players.OlliOlli Worldbeginner tipsmay come in handy for newcomers, however, as the game doesn’t pull any punches in some of its later stages. With new complications added to the mix, such as the aforementioned gusts of wind, there are going to be even more things that players need to keep track of.
It’s unclear whetherOlliOlli Worldwill receive more expansion packs after Finding the Flowzone releases early in November. However, now that Roll7 has shown that it can provide stellar post-launch support for its games, some fans feel thatRollerdromeshould also add more game modesat some point. There’s been no official word yet on whether that will happen, but it’s not impossible by any stretch of the imagination.
