The promotional campaign for the much-awaitedUnchartedmovie is picking up steam and two new TV spots were revealed over the weekend. In both 30-second clips, fans can catch glimpses of new and exciting footage from the upcoming film that brings Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan from theUnchartedgame franchise to life.

In the past few weeks, Sony Pictures has released a lot of content related to the upcomingUnchartedmovie, including a new trailer, the epic plane scene, and a brand new official poster. With the film releasing in theaters in less than a month, thepromotional content forUnchartedgives fans an idea of what’s in store. While the new TV spots aren’t very detailed and contain some footage that fans have already seen in the multipleUnchartedtrailers, it does remind them of the chemistry that the two main characters share, which is the most integral part of the games.

In the firstUnchartedTV spot, the highlight of the video montage is the funny conversation betweenTom Holland’s Drakeand Mark Wahlberg’s Sully. The film seems to be taking a similar route as theUnchartedgames and bringing in the comedic undertones from the franchise. Drake and Sully are seen arguing over their heights and who is taller. “You’re only like one inch taller than me,” Holland’s Drake is heard saying, but Wahlberg’s Sully is convinced that “it’s a little more than that.” In a scenario where they are being chased by bad guys, arguing over who is taller seems almost childish, but it aligns with the characters’ personalities from the games.

The secondUnchartedTV spot, which aired on Sunday, once again looks at the relationship between the two main characters and “the greatest treasure that has never been found.” Holland’s Drake is seen struggling to hang off of a flying pirate ship, glimpses of which were first seen inthe secondUnchartedtrailer. Additionally, while exploring what appears to be some kind of underground pathway, Drake comes across a few traps, which are reminiscent of those seen in the game franchise. Fans can rest assured that the film will be filled with action-packed sequences.

Hardcore fans oftheUnchartedgameshave expressed their skepticism towards the upcoming film and Holland’s casting as Drake. It would be interesting to see how they react to the film after its release and whether it will live up to their expectations. For now, with the film scheduled to release soon, fans are looking forward to more teasers or clips being released prior to the premiere.

Unchartedpremieres in theaters on June 08, 2025.
