Silent Hillis one of the most beloved horror franchises in video game history. The series, along withResident Evil, helped pioneer the survival horror genre back in the late 90s. Sadly, it has been a very long time sinceSilent Hillreceived any sort of mainstream games, leading many fans extremely irked. However, a new line of figurines that are currently in production should lead to many happySilent Hillfans.

If there’s one quality that many fans gravitate towards for the series, it’s theiconic designs ofSilent Hill’smonsters. This franchise sports some of the most disturbing, yet memorable, enemy designs the horror genre has to offer. In many ways,Silent Hillinspired numerous similar enemy types in subsequent horror game series.

One of the lesser-known and underappreciated monsters fromSilent Hillis Robbie the Rabbit fromSilent Hill 3. Though it may not be as popular as Pyramid Head, the pink amusement park rabbit is one of the most terrifying monsters in the entire game. What’s nice, however, is that Robbie the Rabbit is now getting made into a collectible figurine.

The Japanese toy company Gecco is now manufacturing multicolored variations of Robbie the Rabbit. Starting at thirty dollars, each version will have its own weapon variation and is also covered in a fabric-like material. Gecco is also releasing a stretcher accessory that will launch alongside the first wave of figurines. In the past, Gecco has also made figurines based on theSilent Hillnurses.

Even though there hasn’t been a new installment ofSilent Hillin several years, it’s nice to see that the love for the series hasn’t diminished. There are still people eagerly awaiting the return of the series, and the demand for a new game certainly exists given how well the inclusion of Pyramid Head inDead by Daylightwas received. Then again,Pyramid Head has shown up in a lot of different gamesover the years.

Admittedly, it’s still somewhat upsetting that there could have been a new installment in the form ofSilent Hills. From what was shown in the playable teaser back in 2014, the game looked incredibly promising, as well as being absolutely horrifying. Not to mention how much the demo influenced the gaming industry after it’s release.

There were numerous titles to come out afterward that featured similar structure. In fact, a full six years later and people are still recreatingSilent Hillsin various ways, such as one talented individual recreating the demo inHalf-Life: Alyx. Only time will tell if there will ever be another official installment.
