The newDC League of Super-Petstraileropens by showing how close Krypto and Superman are, with the jealous superdog imagining himself getting rid of Lois Lane when he finds out the Man of Steel has a date with the intrepid reporter. What follows is a series of clips of Superman and Krypto working together, but the Last Son of Krypto admits that his four-legged friend doesn’t get along well with other pets. Krypto will have to get over his inability to work well with others after Superman is kidnapped by a guinea pig named Lulu. Fortunately, a group of shelter pets is bestowed with superpowers, prompting Krypto to form the League of Super-Pets and embark on a mission to save Superman.

Superman isn’t the only hero who finds themselves kidnapped, as Wonder Woman can be seen imprisoned alongside the Man of Steel at point. It appears the entire Justice League will be in need of rescue, but the Super-Pets will have to master their newfound powers first, as Chip the squirrel can be seen accidently causing some explosions with his electic powers. To remind audiences that it’s not all doom and gloom, the trailer concludes withKeanu Reeves' Batmanangrily watching as Superman plays fetch with Krpyto using a chew toy modeled after the Caped Crusader.
