Summary
Cyberpunk 2077has evolved past a simple game release and has become a cultural phenomenon that has expanded into multiple different mediums, such as comics and animation. CD Projekt Red has created something extraordinary, albeit after a rocky first half.Cyberpunk 2077is based on the exciting table-top RPG from creator Mike Pondsmith calledCyberpunk 2013. The game puts players in the driver’s seat, controlling a custom character called V, a down-on-their-luck Merc, who finds themselves in even deeper water when attempting to climb the ranks and take on one of the most powerful entities in Night City.
V’s story has been continued recently with the successful launch ofCyberpunk 2077’sfirst expansion,Phantom Liberty, and has been well received by thousands of fans. Throughout the high-octane story ofCyberpunk, there are dozens of interesting characters; most are just trying to survive a day in Night City, while others are of a more sinister nature. Night City is filled withsadistic and vile individualswho enjoy the chaos and turmoil of the bedlam cityplex, but some are more evil than others.

9Royce
Royce is one of the earliest antagonists that the player encounters when playing throughCyberpunk 2077’sstory. After a bloody coupe, Royce erects himself as the current leader ofthe Maelstrom gangand is a stone wall standing in between V and obtaining a vital key to their mission for Dexter DaShawn.
From the very moment Royce appears on the screen, it is obvious he is not to be taken lightly. But as the plot thickens, It’s discovered that he has Brick, the original leader of the Maelstrom, locked in a cell with a bomb.

8Charles Bucks
Charles Bucks is a character that is easy to miss, just one NPC among a sea of hundreds. While on the Last Login mission for Regina Jones, players come across a scavenger den that has been procuring cyberware from still-living targets.
Bucks is the Ripperdoc in charge of the chop shop and takes the harvested modifications and resells them to the public. Bucks tries to proclaim that he was forced to deal with the scavengers, but it is apparent that he has no sympathy for the poor souls he put on the chopping board.

7Arthur Jenkins
Arthur Jenkins is a specific character who becomes a part of V’s lifestyle should players choose theCorpo origin at the start of the game. Jenkins serves as V’s superior at Arasaka and is a high-ranking corporate manager in the organization.
During the early moments of the game, Arthur Jenkins orchestrates a deadly event during a political vote that ends with the death of several city officials. However, Jenkins is nonchalant about the deaths and even calls it good business.

6Johnny Silverhand
Johnny Silverhand is a chimera of a character inCyberpunk 2077, as he is attached to V like a parasite that is slowly taking over their person and wiping them from the history books.
Johnny is a charismatic rocker boyon the surface, but behind his tinted glasses is a cold, near-sociopathic terrorist who doesn’t care much about collateral damage. There are acres of bodies in Johnny Silverhand’s wake who were not part of his one-man war against the corporations, and he shows little regard for them throughout the game’s story.

5Faraday
Faraday is one of the main antagonists of theCyberpunk 2077spin-off,Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. He is a high-ranking fixer in Night City with grave ambitions of climbing the ladder and grasping more power in Night City, no matter the cost.
While initially working for Militech, Faraday defects to Arasaka and sells David Martinez and his crew out for his own selfish goals. Faraday doesn’t care who he has to use or manipulate to get what he wants as long as it helps his bottom line.

4Saburo Arasaka
Saburo Arasaka is at the top of the hierarchy of Arasaka Industries and has been its CEO for nearly one hundred years. Known simply as The Emperor, Saburo oversees all of Arasdaka’s dealings and is known to be entirely ruthless and calculating, signing hundreds of death warrants a day.
Saburo Arasaka goes a step further than most murderers in Night City; for those he deems truly deserving of torture, he traps their minds in the Soul Killer programs, a digital prison filled with the consciousness of hundreds of victims.

3Adam Smasher
It doesn’t get much worse than the full-borg merc, Adam Smasher. Feared throughout Night City and even in certain international territories, Adam Smasher made a name for himself as one of the strongest Solos in the business.
The watchdog of Arasaka was blown to bits in his past life and received a generous offer from his corporate masters. Ever since, he has decimated all who would stand against the Arasaka family, man, woman, or child.

2Jotaro Shobo
Jotaro Shobo is another NPC that is found while on a hunting mission for Regina Jones. Sending players to a club run by the Tiger Claws, V is hired to put an end to a sadistic defiler who likes to dissect his outputs and sell the brain dances for cheap.
Jotaro slices apart innocent victims in his private penthouse on top of his club and relishes in the pain he inflicts. Even worse, he records these vicious murders so he can relive the moments and distribute them among his underlings. It’s said that Jotaro has claimed over seventeen lives and has no empathy to speak of.

1Woodman
Woodman is perhaps the most hated individual inCyberpunk 2077’s story and maybe all of Night City. When trying to get to the bottom ofwhat happened to Evelyn Parker, V discovers that while working at a local brain dance club, she was attacked by a Netrunner and severely damaged.
Woodman, the owner of the club, decided to make as much use of her as possible instead of offering her medical help. In addition, Woodman then sold her off, where she was turned into a recording device for XBDs. Woodman is true scum of the earth and is a clear product of Night City.
