Monster Hunter Worldis showing no signs of stopping its constant game updates anytime soon. Not long after the Sizzling Spice Fest, hunters are already getting ready for more events. This time, they are all returning celebrations that will bring back tons of unlockable items and fun quests that players may have missed in the past. The festivities will run from August 21 to September 30 and are celebrating theone-year anniversary of the giant Iceborne DLCwhich originally released on July 23, 2025.

Monster Hunter Worldplayers have had a busy couple of months with the addition of the Black Dragon Alatreon and thenthe Sizzling Spice Fest right after that. This anniversary event starts right at the end of the current special event: The Last White Knight quest. This introduces the variant Frostfang Barioth monster to the game from August 7 to August 19, so players need to get in plenty of hunts in order to make the creature’s new armor sets.

There hasn’t been any end to content for players to explore, grind, and hunt. This anniversary event is perfect for now, as it is mostly returning quests and items. This means that players only have to go hunt down things they have missed in the past, rather than every single thing being new to them. The end of the Alatreon fightlooked like the game is setting up for something even bigger, so hopefully these fun events are a great way to relax until the next big challenge arrives.
