San Diego Studio held its secondMLB The Show 22content stream on April 29, live on Twitch and YouTube. It’s the second timeMLB The Show 22received a content stream, with the first one taking place two weeks ago, on April 14, when the team unveiled the Jackie Robinson collection, the Supercharged Series, and new Conquest Map details.
Earlier this week, the team announced fixes and patches to the game in order to help correct ongoing problems within several modes. AfterMLB The Show 22’s Game Update 4launched, San Diego Studio shifted gears to focus on some new content hitting the market at the end of its stream.

The Spring Cleanup Event is now live and features five legendary bosses to take down to obtain amazing rewards. Eddie Matthews, the Atlanta Braves Hall of Famer and 12-time All-Star is the fifth and final boss announced for the event. Versatile in two positions, Matthews can smash balls out of the park at ease while serving players' teams as one ofthe best third basemen inMLB The Show 22. He joins the likes of Ernie Banks, David Justice, Tom Seaver, and Zack Britton as the five elite bosses scheduled for the Diamond Dynasty featured program, an event that promises players to be full of engagement packs to open through experience.
Players will be able to earn five silver series packs by reaching 60,000 EXP during the event. Each pack contains a Silver-tier variant of all five bosses, allowing players to collect them all and use them with theirbest Diamond Dynasty cardsto complete numerous missions. Week 1: Legends and Flashback Missions provide players with multiple challenging tasks centered around each boss and completing a specific task with each player. At the 90,000 EXP and 135,000 EXP intervals, players will receive a Diamond pack granting players one of the five bosses in the Diamond-tier, packing an 85-overall, and the rewards continue up until 750,000 EXP with a 20-pack box set.
The Spring Cleanup event is not the only new program hittingMLB The Show 22. The Kansas City Royals Nike City Connect Program is also available in the game, representing a similar product to earlierNike City Connect Programsbut with increased rewards. In the game’s first roster update since launch, six players received upgrades to Diamond status, including Francisco Lindor, Ozzie Albies, Raisel Iglesias, Carlos Rodon, and Kevin Gausmsan. Max Muncy, Kyle Tucker, Starling Marte, and Bo Bichette were downgraded from Diamond to Gold, joining new additions to the tier level such as Pablo Lopez, Anthony Rizzo, Garrett Whitlock, and Frankie Montas, among others.
MLB The Show 22is available on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
