Minecraft Should Let Players Enchant Wolf Armor
With the introduction of armor for wolves inMinecraft, a whole new world of possibilities could emerge. Up until this point, horses were the only animal mob that could wear this protective clothing. With wolves about to join this exclusive club, it would be incredibly helpful if players could enchant their armor. Adding such a feature for wolves could potentially alleviate theaccusations ofMinecraftfavoring felines, as players have long requested more wolf-related features.

VeteranMinecraftplayers are likely aware that the game has several different enchantments, each with its own distinct effects. Interestingly, in the base game, people are limited to charming items like books, weapons, and tools. A player’s armor can be enchanted, but for some reason,Minecrafthorse armorcannot.
Enchanting Wolf Armor Would Provide An Extra Layer of Protection
It’s not a mystery that wolves are one of the mostbeloved animal mobs inMinecraft. This is largely due to the fact that it’s a relatively simple task to tame them and keep them as pets. As such, keeping a pet safe from hostile mobs is typically a high priority.
Acquiring wolf armor should be a straightforward process since players only need to gather scutes from armadillos. Fortunately, these creatures don’t need to be killed to drop scutes. Mojang has indicated that armadillos will primarily inhabit warmer and drier biomeslikeMinecraft’s Badlands, Savannas, and Deserts.
Scutes for wolf armor must be dropped from an Armadillo. Scutes from baby turtles will not yield the same results.
The types of enchantments people could use on wolf armor would vary based on personal preference. This is especially true for those who like to take their companions with them on their travels. After all, losing a pet while on an expedition may be one of the mostheartbreaking moments that occur inMinecraft. Furthermore, adventuring into the mines may require different spells than taking a wolf into battle.

Hopefully, as June draws closer, more information on armadillos and wolf armor will be revealed.
