Mass Effect: Legendary Editionbrought the late 2000s/early 2010s games into the modern era, complete with all the emotional weight the games first had. Now,Mass Effect: Legendary Editiondeveloper BioWare has revealed the most popular choices made in the amped-up versions of the franchise.
Choices are incredibly important inMass Effect: Legendary Edition,with most of the popular choices coming across as little surprise story-wise. Shepard-wise, though, it may be more of a mixed bag.

According to BioWare, 68% of people played Male Shepard while 32% played FemShep. 52% of players went with an Earthborn background, with 27% going Spacer and the other 21% being Colonists. For the psych evals, most players went with Survivor at 44%, with War Hero being one point short of that at 43%. Only 13% of players chose the Ruthless route. Of all theclasses inMass Effect: Legendary Edition, the majority of players at 40% chose the Soldier Class. The least popular class, in comparison, was the Engineer at 5%. For the remaining classes, it was 21% Vanguard, 15% Infiltrator, 11% Adept, and 8% Sentinel.
Story-wise, 93% of players saved the Rachni Queen in the firstMass Effectand sided with her inME3. 60% of players saved Ashley inMass Effect 1, with 94% of players also ensuring Wrex survived the mission on Virmire. 96% of players also cured the Genopage, while 96% ensured Tali was pardoned. Overall, 80% of players were able to ensure peace between the Geth and the Quarians on Rannoch, with the least popular choice being the Quarians (but only by two percent). While the above stats are by no means exhaustive, they are an interesting purview into the averageMass Effect: Legendary Editionplayer. It’s not a surprise that Garrus appears to be the most popular among these stats, but it is surprising to see Jack, Tali, and Mordin fall at the end of theME2Suicide Missionpool.
Based on some of these decisions too, it seems likely that most players wentParagon instead of Renegade inMass Effect: Legendary Edition, which is what statistically happened with the initial releases too. Either way, this should give many fans of the franchise something to consider when starting their next playthrough.
