Even though the wait may not have been as long as other titles fans have been waiting for,Kirby and the Forgotten Landhas arrived at the excitement of many players worldwide. The game has made itself known as Kirby’s first fully 3D adventure, with an entirely new world for players to explore and learn about as theytravel with Elfilin, and that means taking on challenging boss fights like Gorimondo, the Strong-Armed Beast.

While Gorimondo is meant to test the new players ofKirby and the Forgotten Landto see if they understand the game enough to move forward, players aiming to save all of the Waddle Dees will need to do more than just beat Gorimondo once depending on how they tackle him the first time. The gorilla’s stage takes a bit more to fully complete, and this guide can help playersclear all of the missions in The Brawl in the Mall.

The Brawl at the Mall Missions

While this stage is free ofHidden Waddle Dees, fans can still earn up to seven of the cute creatures by clearing these missions involving the gigantic ape. The five missions can be very difficult for players to do in one run, meaning many players will need to come back and face Gorimondo multiple times to free all of Kirby’s friends. However, keeping a few things in mind may make the process easier on some fans.

How to Beat Gorimondo

Gorimondo may be the first proper boss inForgotten Land, but he may prove challenging for many players, especially for those choosing toplay in Wild Mode. Luckily, his attacks are easy to understand once the playermemorizes his patterns, which may help them complete the above missions. Depending on how they choose to fight the gorilla, there may be a few ways to make the missions even easier for players.

The window to slide between Gorimondo’s legs may seem difficult, especially when trying not to get hit. However,Kirby’s slide ability (ZL + A)and thedodge roll abilities(ZL + control stick)may prove useful for avoiding any damage the player may take at the very last minute.

Copy abilities such asNeedle or Tornado Kirbymay also help protect Kirby from most, if not all, damage if timed well.

Sword Kirby is required to complete The Brawl at the Mall’s missions, but it also can prove to be an effective way to end the fight in under two minutes with enough combos dealt to the boss.

Both Sword and Needle Kirbyare two of the many abilities that require no charge time to deal quick and easy damage, which may be the best option for ending the fight quickly. WhileGorimondo may be a new challengefor even veteranKirbyplayers, if fans keep trying, they’re bound to work their way through the beast’s missions in no time.
