Slated to release in just two days' time,Immortals Fenyx Risinglooks to be yet another huge game coming from the team over at Ubisoft this year, joining last month’sAssassin’s Creed Valhallaand October’sWatch Dogs: Legion.Set in an open-world version of ancient Greece, it sees players take on the role of soldier-turned-demigod Fenyx as they attempt to conquer the evil Typhon following his bid to seek revenge on Zeus and the pantheon of the gods.

According to a new trailer posted by Ubisoft, Twitch streamers playingImmortals Fenyx Risingwill be able to enhance the experiences of viewers as well, offering a brand new extension that rewards players with in-game items. Titled “Monster Hunt,” the streaming feature sees players tasked with collecting some of the game’s most notable creatures while watching their favorite streamer take on the various threats of the Golden Isle.

Throughout a streamer’s broadcast, a beast fromImmortals Fenyx Risingwill pop up on screen every two minutes, with viewers tasked with clicking on the monster as quickly as possible to add them to their collection. These foes will disappear fast, so those wanting to ensure they bag them have to be quick on their feet. There are 44 different creatures to collect in total, with players unlocking four different goodies if they manage to get them all. As for what the in-game rewards will be,Ubisoftis allegedly offering a resource pack, a “Cold Spell” bow skin, a “Shiver” sword skin, and an “Avalanche” axe skin.

Those who are thinking of partaking inImmortals Fenyx Rising’sMonster Hunt challenge should act quickly, however, with Ubisoft confirming theTwitchextension will only be available until December 14. That being said, the ad does preface that the items included in the game mode have limited-time exclusivity to the feature, so they’ll likely return in some form down the line. Overall, it seems like a fun ploy to get viewers involved in the lead up toImmortals Fenyx Rising’simminent release on December 3.

For those who aren’t caught up with Ubisoft’s most recent open-world outing,Fenyx Risinghas been in the works at the company for a while,first being announced asGods and Monsterslast year before being rebranded. It looks to be Ubisoft’s attempt to mergeThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’sgameplay with a mythological Greek setting, with tons of puzzles to complete, fights to be had, and wide areas to explore. Early reviews have been fairly positive, with critics claiming the game is a fun open-world adventure despite lacking much depth.

Immortals Fenyx Risingwill launch on December 3 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
