How To Switch Between Red and Antea In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
Players canswitch between Red and Antra by pressing the Triangle button (PlayStation) or the Y button (Xbox). Most of the time, players will be using Red during their exploration. But that doesn’t mean Antea is not useful. Both characters serve different purposes, and when thegoing gets tough, playersshouldn’t be afraid to switch between Antea and Red.
Antea is extremely powerful, and she gains more skills as the story progresses. Players have to switch to Antea whenever they see a blue mark appear on Red’s right hand, which is an indication that there is a blocked path that can only be opened with her power. Antea is also stronger against possessed corpses, so use her to deal extra damage.
Red wields a sword in combat, and he is better against specters. Also, players should learn how to parry attacks, as it creates an opening for a counterattack. Red gains a rifle with which he can target enemies that are out of his reach. The rifle takes time to reload, so aim carefully. As you hit enemies with Red, Antea’s spirit gauge goes up, which will allow you to switch and use her in combat.
Should You Play As Red Or Antea In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?
The short answer is that you have to play with both. It is not possible to complete the story without constantly switching and using the two characters. The equipment for the characters canbe upgraded as well. For instance, there are certain paths that are blocked by various obstacles. Red won’t be able to destroy them, no matter what kind of attack he uses. Players will have to switch to Antea. Then press and hold the R2/RT button to unleash a blast that will clear the path.
In some other cases, players will have to destroy an object hanging in the area, and for that,they need to use Red’s rifle.
