Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest title in the legendary FPS series, has recently entered its 5th Season. This means new maps, weapons, and operators are available, as well as new bundles on the store. Many ofModern Warfare’s most desirable cosmetics require real money to unlock, and the new golden tracers are no exception.
The latestCall of Dutyhas had tracer roundsfor a while, allowing players to customize their bullet trails for extra flair. But the new gold tracers have arrived more recently, and are limited to only a couple of weapons. Both of these special guns are available in the same store bundle, and here’s how to pick them up.

The Executive Armorer
As you’d expect for a bundle called The Executive Armorer, this package doesn’t come cheap. Players will have to part with 2400 COD Points to pick it up, almost twice as much as thenew Poison Dart bundle. The bundle does come stocked with plenty of extras, however, as well as the two weapons that fire gold tracer rounds.
The first of these is the Mother Lode, a blueprint of the popular Grau 5.56, while the other is a re-skinned Fennec SMG called the Royal Coffer. In addition, players who purchase the bundle will receive agolden-masked skinfor Operator Mask, as well as his Stack ‘Em Up quip. Finally, players will receive the Iron Works sticker, the Guard Your Grill charm, and a re-skinned ax called Golden Hew.
Golden Bullets
As well as golden tracers, the Mother Lode and Royal Coffer blueprints also come with the Golden Dismemberment effect. This can cause the limbs of fallen foes to be coated in gold, a real way to make a memorable impression inCoD’s multiplayer playlists. As a bonus, the weapons that the Mother Lode and Royal Coffer are based on are both solid picks.
While the Grau 5.56 isn’t as dominant as it used to be afterModern Warfare’s recent patches, it’s still a fine choice in multiplayer andCall of Duty: Warzone. Likewise, the Fennec is a punchy SMG that can chew through enemies at close range. Both weapons are among the best in their respective classes, and no player will be disappointed by their performance. While the price of The Executive Armorer is definitely steep, the rewards are worth it for a player looking to add a decadent twist to theirCall of Dutygames.
