Gear can play a hugely important role inForspoken, particularly for those who areplaying the game on some of the harder difficulty settings. There are three types that players will need to consider, these being Cloaks, Nail Designs, and Necklaces. There are 15 of the latter available throughout the course of the game (17, if pre-order bonuses are included), though two of these are missable.

This is because each one has been designed to complement a different playstyle, meaning that what works for some players might not be ideal for others. That said,certain Necklaces are objectively better than others, including the aptly namedHome Sweet Hell. This craftable Necklace boasts three very useful skills where many others have only one or even zero.
For players who don’t just spam flow to avoid taking damage,Soothis an excellent choice, particularly when paired with something likethe Unsurpassable Cloak(unlocked by completing the Niccoline Guild in the South Plateau area of Visoria).
