Palworld’sNitewingis a Neutral Pal with an appearancesimilar to Staraptor of thePokemonfranchise, dark in color and so large that it’s impossible to miss.Nitewingis one of the early-game pals, and it is quite the catch if players are up for the challenge. Like Dinossom, Nitewing comes with a lower probability rate when using regular Pal Spheres, and has a higher combat difficulty compared to the smaller Pals.

Nitewing is an excellent Pal to catch right off the bat, as it is solid at protecting bases from eventual raids and can wipe out full swarms with a few blows. It has a Level 2 Gathering skill, but it does consume a lot of food — a whopping 7 out of 10. Nitewing is easily one of the betterPalworldbeasts of the early game, and it can remain in a player’s setup for a long time, thanks to its handy Partner Skill.

PALWORLD-NITEWING-LOCATION

Where to Find Nitewing

Nitewing Location in Palworld

As portrayed in the map, Nitewing is located in almost every area of the early-game map but remains uncommon as they only spawn once or twice in one spot. Fortunately, they’re still quite easy to spot, thanks to their enormous size and the fact they are up in the air.

Nitewing can be found as early as the second area past the game’s main entrance, slightly after the area wherethe first Dinossom ofPalworldcan be spotted. Nitewing will always be flying up in the air, so getting its attention will require either a bow and arrow, or a Pal Sphere attempt. Either one will force it into combat, and Nitewing will drop to the ground before initiating its battle form.

PALWORLD-NITEWING-UTILITY

The best way to spawn Nitewing is to fast travel back and forth from the Plateau of Beginnings to the Grassy Behemoth Hills until one eventually shows up. As this area is one of the busier locations, normally, there will be a variety of different Pals that could get in the way of the battle. Nitewing will normally present between the levels 9 and 11, making it a difficult battle early on, but one that players can breeze through once achieving level 12 and up.

Nitewing’s Work Suitability

What’s Nitewing Good for?

Nitewing comes with a Level 2 Gathering skill, but it shouldn’t be the Pal kept at base. Instead, players can unlock the Nitewing Saddle at Player Level 15for two Technology Points, allowing them to use this Pal to their advantage. This allows players to mount Nitewing using the Travel Companion partner skill, which makes use of its ability tofly around thePalworldland. This skill uses up the player’s stamina when taking flight, so be careful when soaring up and away from land.

Nitewing is not the onlyPalworldPal with flying mounts, but its early availability makes it a good bet to explore the land quickly and unlock Fast Travel posts. Players should also consider spending some extra character trait points on stamina to take full advantage of its flight, otherwise waiting until the later parts of the game will see Nitewing outclassed by stronger flying Pals.

Nitewing in Combat

Is Nitewing Strong?

The short answer is yes, Nitewing is quite strong. Not only is it a strong foe to battle against when players want to catch one, but it quickly becomes a strong defender against raids and a solid Pal to bring around as part of the team. ItsWork Suitabilityisn’t the only thing that makes it so helpful. Here are its main attack combinations.

Its ability to fly during combat makes Nitewing a good option for defense against raids. Throwing it out pre-emptively and then attacking incoming raiding Pals with arrows will ignite Nitewing’s lust for combat. This makes wiping out waves simple and avoids having to re-construct builds after the battle.
