For some characters inGenshin Impact, Constellations are a major factor in their abilities. Some units are only good when a certain Constellation is unlocked, especially 4-star characters. For example,Genshin ImpactKujou Sara is underwhelming as an attack buffer at C0, but at C6, she became the best support for Electro characters.
Meanwhile, Shikanoin Heizou may not suffer from the same fate as Kujou Sara, but his Constellations too can make him a better unit.

Are Shikanoin Heizou’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
While he can perfectly operate without them, some of Heizou’s Constellations' passive effects greatly raise his DPS potential. That put Heizou in a tricky situation where his Constellations are good but not needed. So all in all, forGenshin Impactplayers that want to get Heizou’s Constellations, don’t sweat about a specific Constellation as he’s fine at C0.
C1 - Named Juvenile Casebook
C1 Heizou’s passive effect increases his Normal Attack SPD, which is needed to collect his Declension stacks faster. Of course, in order for his stacking to work, Heizou needs to trigger Swirl against the enemy. So faster Normal Attacks and getting one stack when he joins the field will definitely enhance hisDPS inGenshin Impact.
C2 - Investigative Collection
Heizou’s superstar ability is his Elemental Skill, but hisGenshin ImpactBurst can inflict some serious damagetoo. C2 Heizou’s passive enhances his ability to pull enemies when he unleashes his Elemental Burst. While it’s effective to some degree, it’s not really game-changing since it’s just one second of extra pulling and isn’t noticeable enough in the first place.
C4 - Tome of Lies
Again, boosting Heizou’s second-best ability instead of his best. C4 Heizou’s passive effect doesn’t boost his Burst damage, instead, it gives a way for Heizou to regenerate energy faster and launch his Elemental Burst earlier. In most cases, Heizou’s fourth Constellation is unnecessary as he only needs 40 energy for his ultimate anyway.
C6 - Curious Casefiles
Finally, Heizou’s Elemental Skill gets a direct boost in damage. His Skill is already a powerhouse, easily landing 60k+ damage on hit. Increasing its internal CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will further put more weight into C6Heizou’s punch inGenshin Impact.
