Anew poston the popularGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has given more details about Neuvillette and his kit. According to the leak, his ascension stat will be Crit Damage which means that he probably be an offensive character rather than a shielding support. Neuvillette’s playstyle will apparently revolve around a special state which requires him to charge up for 4 seconds. This duration can be shortened if he can consume Sourcewater Droplets. Justthe upcoming five-star Pyro user Lyney, Neuvillette will have two levels on his Charged Attack that grants a lot of flexibility to his playstyle.
His Elemental Skill will be an AoE attack that has asimilar range to Bennet’s Fantastic Voyage. The leak does not reveal a lot about this ability other than that it creates 3 Sourcewater Droplets and 4 elemental particles. Just like it’s the case for most Hydro users in the game, it’s safe to assume that Neuvillete’s damage potential will scale with max. HP. During Neuvillette’s Elemental Burst, he will tap his cane before entering the close-up animation.
Previous leaks have revealed that his Elemental Burst will increase the damage to the on-field character’s Normal Attacks which means that he could have great synergy with certain DPS units like Yoimiya, Childe, or Eula. The post has also mentioned that both his skills will apparently have a waterfall theme. There is still a lot of mystery around his character as many fans have pointed out an interesting detail about his official reveal in whichHoYoverse did not completely confirm his Hydro Vision.
Many fans suspect that he could have the ability to control the Hydro element without using a Vision, similar to thetwo main characters Lumine and Aether. While the leaks seem credible, the info should still be taken with a grain of salt since HoYoverse still has a lot of time to change the way Neuvillette’s kit works.
