Farming for loot is a common mechanic with any action-RPG and withGenshin Impact, there are certain methods that need to be adhered to. When it comes to electro crystals, players will need certain powers to collect them. Of course, it’s also worth pointing out that there are certain areas around Teyvat that are teeming with electro crystals and are ripe for the picking.
Electro crystals are rich with power and they can make a character’s hand go numb when holding it. They are generally used to make Insulation Potion and Shocking Essential Oil. The trick is that players simply can’t walk up to one and grab it. There’s a certain technique that must be done to renderthe crystal to become collectible. to harvest them, there must be an elemental interaction activated. In this case, Pyro energy is needed to break up the crystals so players can snatch them up.

When it comes toGenshin Impact, there are certainly better places to farm electro crystals than others. Word of caution is that if a player gets too close to an electro crystal, it will discharge electro energy. This will cause some damage and make it rather difficult to harvest. It’srecommended to use Amberto farm them due to her being able to use her charged Pyro shot with her bow. She can break the crystals up at a distance without any problems.
Over at Cape Oath in Mondstadt, is one of the best places to farm electro crystals. They usually spawn four or six crystals that each drop about two resources each. On top of that, there are some respawning chests in there. The second best place to find electro crystals is over at Liyue near Wuwang Hill. Near the Oceanid Boss, there are a couple of cliffs that are rich with crystals between them. There are also other elements to find in these cliffs, as well like;Cicin Mage and Cor Lapis, among others.
Alternatively, players can also find electro crystalsnear the Statue of the Seventhat’s southward of Mingun Village. Look for a wooden bridge and leap down to scour around the side ridges of it. There’s usually a few crystals spawning there regularly. Also, the bridge close to the Luhua Pool will also have a few crystals that players can pluck. Lastly, south of Yaoguang Shoal there will be a grouping of electro crystals adjacent to the teleporter on the beach.
