Summary
A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed the five playable units that will be offered on the second limited banner that will arrive in version 4.1. Every update has two phases, each of which contains a set of limited characters that players can pull four. These units can have two ranks of rarity, five-star and four-star.
WhileGenshin Impact’s five-star characters are usually much more powerful units, they are also harder to acquire since they feature a 90-wish pity. This means that players are guaranteed a five-star drop within 90 wishes, however, there is also a 50% chance that this drop features a character from the Standard Banner.

Anew poston theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed which five-star and four-star units will appear on the second banner phase of update 4.1. According to the post, the second part of the upcoming update will featurethe new Cryo user Wriothesleyand the Anemo Archon Venti as the limited five-star characters. The two will be joined by a decent four-star lineup that includes the Pyro polearm support Thoma, the Cryo claymore user Chongyun, and the Electro character Dori.
Wriothesley will be the only new character on this banner, and he’s confirmed to be the game’s first Cryo catalyst user which created a lot of hype around his release. This weapon and element combination means that Wriothesley will be able to apply the Cryo element with his Normal Attacks which makes him theperfect choice for the Frozen or Melt team compositions.
However, even though the catalyst is usually considered a ranged weapon used by mages, recentGenshin Impactgameplay leakshave revealed that Wriothesley prefers close combat similar to the Anemo DPS Shikanoin Heizou. There have been rumors that the new five-star Cryo user could join the Standard Banner after version 4.1 ends, similar to how Dehya and Tighnari became part of this banner. When it comes to his role on the feld, Wriothesley is expected to be a new DPS character.
The second five-star character on the leaked banner, Venti, is one of thestrongest supports inGenshin Impact, even though he was released in the game’s first update back in 2020. While some Travelers prefer Kazuha over the Anemo Archon in their support role, Venti can still do the job on the field, especially if facing a larger group of enemies which is where his Wind’s Grand Ode becomes especially useful.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
