Carrocosta is a prehistoric turtle, and that description alone forms the basis for a greatMonster Huntercreation. A large, armored turtle patrolling the waterways ofMonster Hunter Wildswould be more than an exciting sight, though. Its shell would provide a natural powerful defense when faced withMonster Hunter Wilds' combat options, and it’s overall a good concept for a melee-based water monster. Seeing something like Carracosta inMonster Hunter Wilds' rivers would guarantee a good fight.
Heatmor’s Anteater Aesthetic Could Make For a Unique Monster
Heatmor took the idea of an anteater and brought it in a bizarre new direction. Instead of using its tongue to eat ants, it shoots tongue-shaped jets of flame to roast them. TheMonster Hunterworld already has bizarre beasts such as the Pukei-Pukei and Khezu, so a fiery anteater like Heatmor would fit right in. From design to fighting style, the developers could easily have fun with the concept, and it could become one ofMonster Hunter Wilds' highlights.
A Royal Serpent Like Serperior Could Slither Through the Forests of Monster Hunter Wilds
Serperior could bring aunique vibe toMonster Hunter Wilds. Even without its royal theme, a grassy snake slithering around would be an exciting addition to any jungle or forest it inhabits. In addition to lashing out with its tail, Serperior’s Grass-type roots could influence a similar monster to lash out with leaves or vines that it has collected. TheMonster Huntergames could use more serpents, and Serperior could provide a pristine example of what they can do.
Royal references are not new to theMonster Hunterseries, with several Rathian weapons inMonster Hunter Riseincluding words like Queen, Princess, and Empress in their names.
Ferrothorn May Be a Blueprint For an Evasive, Defensive Wall of a Monster
Ferrothorn is one ofPokemon’s premier defensive walls, and it could translate into a memorable monster forMonster Hunter. Living in an armor shell and traveling via tentacles, Ferrothorn is unlike anymonster that could return inMonster Hunter Wilds, and that works to its benefit. Its hard shell and ability to stick to walls could make it an almost entirely defensive monster in a hunt. At the same time, that spiked amor could also work for some fantastic weapon and armor designs.
Haxorus is the Kind of Dragon That Would be Exciting to See in Monster Hunter Wilds
As a dragon with multiple axe blades on its head, Haxorus was among the most intimidating additions toPokemon Black and Whiteaside from the legendaries. It would translate fantastically toMonster Hunter Wildsoff the strength of its concept alone, and it’s easy to imagine it tearing up the battlefield. While it might not quite match the power level ofMonster Hunter’s elder dragons, a blade-wielding dragon like Haxorus would be a treat to see inMonster Hunter Wilds.
