Fortniteleaks have revealed threeGuardians of the Galaxyskins coming to the game, which depict fan-favorite characters Drax, Groot, and Mantis. A release date for the newFortniteskins is still not officially confirmed, but they will likely be added in the near future.

The crossover was partially revealed in arecentLEGO Fortniteupdatewhen fans spotted LEGO versions of Drax and Groot in the patch’s key art. The update was a pretty major one, as it added three vehicle builds for LEGO fans to unlock and customize. It also added new tools, additional LEGO versions ofFortniteskins, and more. As for theGuardiansskins, the only information that Marvel fans initially received was the brief appearance of the two characters, but now there’s a lot more to go on.

FortniteleakerHypex tweeted an imagethat showed the regularFortniteversions of the threeGuardiansskins, along with their back blings and harvesting tools. The Drax and Mantis skins depict the characters in their usual outfits and the Young Adult Groot skin depicts him in his bulky, athletic stage. Mantis' skin comes with some slight reactivity thanks to her antennas that periodically flicker on and off with light. As for additionalGuardians of the Galaxycosmetics, the Drax skin comes with the Drax’s Blades pickaxe and Drax’s Blades back bling (same name but different items), the Groot skin comes with the Flora Colossus Fist pickaxe and Groot’s Gamepad back bling, and the Mantis skin comes with the Insectoid Claws pickaxe and Lil Abilisk back bling. Additionally, the emotes Potted Groot Dance and Zargnut Invisibility will be added alongside the skins.

Leakers claim the items will all be part of a bundle that must be bought with regular money instead of V-Bucks. Fans might remember thatFortnitehas previously added a Groot skin, which could be unlocked through a battle pass. While the return of Marvel characters toFortniteprobably comes as a pleasant surprise to most, there might be a reason for the new additions.

In February,Disney and Epic Games announced a new partnershipthat aims to further linkFortnitewith popular Disney brands like Marvel,Star Wars, and Pixar. As part of the deal, Disney invested $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic, and the two companies also began work on a new games and entertainment universe, which could be playable from within theFortnitelauncher similar toLEGO Fortniteor Rocket Racing.
