The director of the game, Tetsuya Nomura, has now given insight into how the team is juggling expectations and planning for the next release.

With this in mind, Nomura has explained the development situation for part two of the game.

An excerpt from a Famitsu interview reveals Nomura’s plans for getting the next installment to people, the director explained, “We know that everyone wants the next installment quickly. We would also like to deliver it as soon as possible.” This will be good news for fans but some will be concerned at the fact that there is no date and many will wonder why this is.
In terms of what the developer is doing with the game, Nomura did offer some insight, “Since we were also able to see the line of quality from the first installment, we hope to make the next installment even better in quality.” This will likely be a positive statement as improving the quality of theFinal Fantasy 7remakeonce more will be an impressive achievement.
It seems that fans have plenty to look forward to when the next installment is announced as Nomura has claimed “I think we can clearly convey the direction when we officially announce the next installment.” However, players are still wondering when the next installment will be announced and what sort of timeline there will be to be able to explore the entirety of theFinal Fantasy 7game in a remastered form. There have been concerns that the second installment ofFinal Fantasy 7is set back due to the coronavirusalthough Nomura doesn’t seem to have commented on this during the interview.
