Dying Light 2’s New Nightmare Mode Explained
Released on June 19, 2025,Dying Light 2’s Nightmare Mode updateadds a wealth of new content to the game, most of which revolves around this titular new difficulty setting. The most challenging way to playDying Light 2, Nightmare Mode strips back the game’s UI, removes some vital gameplay crutches, and makes some important tweaks to enemies. Put simply,Dying Light 2’s Nightmare Mode is not for the faint of heart, and certainly not for those still relatively new toDying Light 2.
