PS4 exclusiveDreamsgives players the freedom to create virtually anything that they can imagine using its expansive suite of creation tools. And like in many similar games,Dreamsplayers have used these tools to recreate their favorite franchises. This has included various cartoons, such as the popular animated seriesBob’s Burgers, which has been a huge hit since its debut on Fox in 2011.
Mere days after theDreamslaunch on PS4, and someone has already made aBob’s Burgers-themed level. This was discovered by Simon Chong, who has worked as a director on theBob’s BurgersTV series. He shared a clip of theBob’s Burgerslevel inDreams, showing the player character take control of not only Bob, but also Louise. The clip shows players running around the street outside of the titular Bob’s Burgers restaurant, and it looks very accurate to the TV show.

This isn’t the first time that a cartoon or TV series has been remade inDreams, and it certainly won’t be the last. One of the more notable ones is aDreamslevel based onDexter’s Laboratory, which lets players explore Dexter’s house as Dexter himself. Other characters from the show, including Dexter’s parents, make an appearance, and players are free to explore his room, the living room, and the kitchen.
The extensive capabilities of theDreamscreation tools have made it possible for users to create extremely accurate representations of things, and this has extended well beyond TV shows. For example, one player managed to create what is straight-upFallout 4inDreams, which is an incredible feat, to say the least.
The downside to theDreamslevels based on existing IP is that they may not be long for this world. Copyright owners may not like to see their IP used to create content forDreams, and so it’s possible these levels will be removed. It’s for this reason why someDreamscreators have only showed off their creations in YouTube videos instead of actually uploading them to the game’s servers for other people to play. Some of the coolerDreamscreations, like theLast of UsPS1 demake, are largely unavailable because of this.
Regardless, there’s still plenty to see and do inDreams, and the game will only have more content as time goes down.Dreamshas earned critical acclaimfrom reviewers as well, which could very well translate into more sales and even more people building their own unique creations for years to come.
